Extraordinary Events
For the official launch of Veterans’ Retreat ‘Building Our Heroes A Home Campaign,’ the registered charity selected Rowntree Gordo to deliver fully integrated marketing activities including a large media launch event, subsequent PR and several updates to their existing website. Veteran’s Retreat is a 55-acre site based in Northumberland, near Ebchester and will be the first residential and medical facility of its kind in the UK for the rehabilitation of former troops of HM Forces.
Unforgettable Results
On Thursday 29th September 2011, Rowntree Gordo delivered a highly effective media launch event to 100 stakeholders and kickstarted the campaign to raise the initial fundraising milestone and gain maximum national and regional media exposure. We worked in close partnership with Veterans’ Retreat, from concept to completion and were delighted to secure the attendance of Johnson Beharry VC and the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland as official patrons of the charity.
Despite its infancy, Veterans’ Retreat has galvanized in media interest since the official launch and is set to see their initial fundraising milestone turn reality.
